Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP Laserjet Pro M15W
Many HP printers have a Wi-Fi setup mode that helps you connect your printer to a network. This mode is enabled for two hours during first-time printer setup. Restore Wi-Fi setup mode if the printer is not found during software setup or when the connection is lost.
Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on most HP printers
Use the control panel on your printer to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.
Printers with a touchscreen display
Use the touchscreen to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.

On the printer control panel, touch the Setup icon
or Wireless icon
.

Select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings.

If a confirmation prompt displays, touch Yes.
-
Wait 60 seconds until the Wireless light blinks blue.
-
Within two hours, return to the app or software to find and add your printer and complete the setup.
HP inkjet and ink tank printers without a touchscreen
Use the Cancel and Wireless buttons to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.

Press the Cancel button
to ready the printer.

Press and hold the Wireless button

simultaneously until the Power button blinks.

If the printer is in sleep mode (the Ready light is on but dim), press the Resume/Cancel button
to wake up the printer.

for more than 20 seconds or until the Attention light
blinks.

Release the Wireless button
.
The printer restarts and the Wireless light blinks.

Use the buttons on the printer control panel to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.

On the prompt, touch OK to restore the network default settings. The status light blinks purple.

On the back of the printer, press and hold the Wi-Fi button
for five seconds.

Wait for the Status light to pulse blue.
